I would be interested in that. My jeep has been too clean and I have a rifle that is too high powered for all of the ranges I have found around here. Hopefully I'll catch it if ya'll do that again.

Hey all--anybody got a set of 4 door Rubi Rails they want to get rid of? I'm looking to replace my 4 door side steps with some rock rails as I mentioned here.

If there are any local folks out there who would actually prefer side steps for their 4 door, I've got a set I can swap with you. If (more likely) you've actually installed more robust rocker protection and replaced your Rubi rails, I'm happy to toss you a few bucks for the rails you've now got sitting in your garage.

Hey MTH check out craigslist I swore that I saw some out of the east NC craigslist. That person may still have their rock rails.

Save your money bud and get some Ace engeering. You want some that use a frame mount type and not something that uses the pinch/body line.

Going to do both, actually. The Aces fit over the Rubi rails.

Hey all NC jeepers, does anyone have experience in installing front/rear track bars? Mine came in yesterday and look really good. I don't have experience putting them in but would be willing to try the install with another provided we had the right tools and time. Let me know if any of you can help. Thanks -

Yep, if my grille wasn't already an accent color (mountain editions came with mineral grey grilles even though the jeep was a different color), I'd do this. No question. Looks good.

Just saw this now . . . That does tempt me (so long as you understand I have no idea what I'm doing), but unfortunately, my loony fall schedule continues this weekend with yet another out-of-town family member coming to stay that I must entertain and probably shouldn't put to work helping install my buddy's trackbars.

That said, my daughter was asking about "the girl who's daddy has a jeep too" and wanted to know when they could visit again. If you don't get these things on in the next week or so, let's see if we can schedule a play date for the kids along with my wife's parents so you and I can go find a flat surface to get these things on your jeep. I think I'm clear next weekend.

Thanks, I'd like to put them on but it's looking like having one other person would be better to help with the rear. If I can get a friend to help then I'll get pics up. I've emailed a few on here. We'll see!

I live in Dunn just south of where I-95 and I-40 meet. I know of some spots that are under the radar
I have lost most of my wheelin buddies due to deployments and such.
I used to frequent a place in Garner, but it has been a while. I am up for whatever.

Hey bud, I'm about 20 mins south of you, I'm off exit 319 on 40. I've been looking for the place in garner, its over by the jeep dealer ship as far as I know. I've been over there, but nothing exciting really.

A few of us are helping MTH get his lift on tomorrow. You should bring the TJ out to the wrenching party.

Yeah, apparently Dustin decided that bad news coming out of both ends of his body was somehow reason enough not to take several hours helping to install someone else's lift for free. Ridiculous!

Ahh well, that kit sitting in my kitchen ain't going anywhere. It'll get on there! And maybe we can do it WITHOUT having to have a bucket ready for Dustin.

What size lift did you end up going with? New tires and rims? I could lend a hand if you like, not much experience with lifts but I did put a 1" body lift and change my coils out and put a drop bracket for track arm on rear....so I'm handy.

What do you think about this upcoming weekend Mike? Does that work for either of you?

2.5" TeraFlex coil. New 33" tires and 15" alloy wheels are expected around Christmas. Although I've already got a 1" BB lift, so I could handle the new shoes even if the lift isn't yet installed.

Thanks for the offer. I'd invite whomever would be interested, but--as ESP and I discovered when we did my BB--my gravel driveway is no place to install a lift. So we'll be using Dustin's facilities, and he's got some other Jeepy electronics stuff I want to look over while I'm there. But if we can't get it done over the next few weeks . . . I'll be the guy in the blue JKU sitting in your driveway.
