What type of 8.8 do you use explorer, mustang (sn95 or fox?) I would image the explorer as it came with a lsd and 32 spline axles ( I think or its 31 maybe?)

What kind of welding for brackets did you have to do?

31 spline on a 8.8 and you need one out of a explorer or a mountaineer..... Don't use a mustang 8.8 that would be a downgrade from a dana35

If you need any brackets made, let me know. Matter of fact I made some a few weeks back for the guy that rode with us at Selma this year in July, he's putting it back to stock form to trade it in on a 4 door

I'm going to be doing the swap next spring if all goes according to plan. Can you Fab these up at any time? What's the cost?

The axle tubes are smaller and weaker. And I think a little narrower. Your stock 35 is better.

Well go ahead and put one in. Let me know how much money you waste when you blow apart that toothpick.

Michelle sent me the invite on FB so I can touchbase with here to see what the plans are. If there is a good group going I will go too. Would be really fun. I'll talk with her and see what I can find out and then get back here with what I know.

There's a power line trail here, but it's only like a mile long, with one small hill, lol

Rick, I actually did it myself... I was not rushing at all & got it done over a weekend. Now I did have my little wife out there to steady the jack once or twice(she was not happy about it either).

Zombiekiller, if I can do it, you can do it.

Pics on my "build thread" linked in my signature.

I bought a bolt on from East Coast Gear Supply in Raleigh, NC. Including re gearing the front... I dropped just over 2K. I still need to put in a SYE w/ CV shaft to eliminate some vibrations... but I LOVE the performance! 82mph on I-40! lol The stopping power w/ 4 wheel discs is great also
