Looking back at my post I can see I wasn't very clear. It should read something like "you could always walk back to the fishing spots". I didn't mean to imply you should bypass the pillars to wheel back there. Really, there isn't much back there to begin with.

I bought a bolt on from east coast gear supply in raleigh. I did it over a weekend. I love the stopping power of 4 wheel disc brakes, and of course the new gear ratio with the 33's brings everything back to factory specs as far as my power and rpm...

Check out their site... you can build your axle, then add it to your cart and see exact total. If you go or call ask for Ryan and tell him Billy sent you.

Why do you want to remove your track bar?? Don't like having your axle center under your jeep?

If you can get over to me I can look at your jeep. I have 2 cars I'm working on so if it can wait until monday-tuesday that be awesome.

Heard it was a good improvement to remove it on leaf-sprung. More flex

I can't really tell a difference without it, but I keep my sway bar connected for now. I can tell you for sure that removing it will not get you farther on any trail than you can go now.
If you want to come this far I can take the front off in just a few minutes. The rear takes a little more finesse

I don't think I can make that drive, kind of scares me to stay on the highway for 25 minutes now with the backfiring issues
