My bad my phone skipped this post. Keep the dana 35. I got 37s on mine. But, if you get the 8.8 let me know and I'll probably buy your 35.

Yeah I do. Just to prove that the 35 isn't that bad. Think about it... It's only parts, if something breaks, replace it. I can't stand when someone brings something into the shop and they hand me a list of everything that they've crossbread it with. I do take it off road when I get time. And I dog it.

i attempted to look into an engine swap and scared myself off. i still would like to do a tranny swap, but i don't think i can be out of a jeep for the weeks the engine swap will take. i think im set on the 8.8 in the rear, but when im down with the d35 its all yours. what would you seasoned vets suggest i do with the front axle in order to run 35s? this jeep is my dd so i don't wheel the snot out of it, however its not a pavement princess

I still have the 30 up front. The good thing about that, is that if you break an axle or something you can still drive home. My first big test with everything will be going back to Uwharrie. I would run it. Btw, banks316 on here has the 37s still on the dana 35.

the 30 holds up alot better than the 35 and should really have no problem with 35's but if you get chromoly shafts in the front with 35's you should be about bullet proof until you do a v8 swap

Its not like that - Rick has a propensity for taking the hill never travelled! My self heals so its no problem! The actual trails are fine, with all this rain it should be awesome out there!
