Trip to Corolla NC

I'm from NC and have been to the beautiful beaches of the OBX numerous times and thought I would share some pics with fellow jeepers.

I gotta get down to OBX. Did you see a lot of other Jeepers or just drunk Ford owners with pick ups?

I am in Burlington and have been wanting to take my newest Wrangler down there. What are the details about where you can go on the beach, fees, hours/dates, etc.?

BTW, pics are beautiful!

There were a share of both Jeeps and drunk pick up owners. However if you can tell by the pics... the beach in Corolla is very wide and spacious. We did not have anyone beside us for quite some distance. That's one reason we enjoy going to that particular beach.

Although there were other Jeeps the only "groups" I saw were the rentals...

Harwa...
There are no fees to ride on the beach at Corolla, and I believe the hours are daytime hours... may want to research the tide though. Also you can ride down by the water or closer to the dunes and are allowed to drive up the beach for several (I think 30+) miles into some other towns (Carova). These towns are only accessible by the beach and have some absolutely beautiful homes as well as wild horses and some mud pits behind the dunes.
