Uwharrie national forest

Hi,

New jeep owner looking to go off the pavement for first time and wanted to see if anyone had been on any of the uwharrie NF trails. I know they vary in difficulty some of them way beyond my skill and the stock nature of my jeep. Any info would be appreciated.

If your jeep is stock i would not reccommend Uwharrie. When i went recently my friend brought his stock jeep with him, and he left it in the parking lot all day. The stock jeep just doesnt have enough clearance, your undercarriage will hit alot.

its a nice place for a variety of setups. I did alright on the medium rated trails and i only have a 2" lift and 32" AT's. I did not even bother with the higher rated trails, knowing i would not make it past the gate. Perfect forest to camp at night after a long day of wheelin'.
