With the great success we had the last 2 years, with somewhere around 20 folks showing up for the first year and 30+ rigs and even more people last year, and the great expressed interest of all those involved, I think it is time to start planning for our third trip out. Same rules etc apply. I will be throwing some updates up on the American Jeepers Facebook group, and if you don't get an answer out of me, Kenny, or Wes in a day or two, feel free to post up there.

August 1-3 is the tentative date.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This will be the official thread for the Third Annual WF ride at Rausch Creek in Tremont, PA. Rausch Creek Off Road Park We will probably be running green and blues, the easier trails, with some blue blacks/blacks and of course harder trails if your rigs can handle it. Should be a good weekend of fun. If anyone has any questions contact me, Bear94 or InvertChaos for details. The date is currently open for discussion. Anyone is welcome to join us :thumb: If you know what trails you plan on running etc let us know. I will add everything to an "official list" I make so we can organize into wheeling groups out there.

You NEED:
At least one tow point front and rear
Working 4 wheel drive with low range (unless otherwise equip)
Spare tire (doesn't have to be a full size, its your spider gears that will want it though)

You SHOULD HAVE:
An offroad or more aggressive tire tread. If you are stock and bringing stock (road only) tires, I would look into picking up a used set.
Water, sunscreen, bug spray, your own money, etc.

Attendee list: + several Non-WF members (not on list) ( I left people from last year who have told me they want to try to come already on the list.

1. Ryan, Goldensahara00 + at least 2 rigs, up to 6ish
2. Kenny, Bear94 + pete/will
3. Wes, InvertChaos
4. Jared, JDeBlois
5. Bill, blueskiesbill + friend
6. Ryan - MAYDAY
7. RemoJK
8. Steveo33186

DO IT!

Talked to the wife yesterday to make sure we had no plans that weekend but she said it's to far away to remember, so I am a go for this.
Might have some buddies coming along with me too. We've been trying to get out to rausch for the past 2 years
Nobody wants to come?? :(
Heck yeah man! And they will come in time.

I'll probably be there since I have no plans and will have my license by then.
Excellent man! Glad to have you.

Whats up Fender, I live right down in Monroe so you can join in with my group of people on the way down.

Now there is plenty of room for a tent like that. We usually try and grab the entire corner where the picture says "Camping area". I try to get there as early as possible on Friday to claim our spot.

Sick! I don't know if I'm coming from NY or GA; it just depends on where I end up this summer. I'll let you know as I learn more.

Haha oh it wasn't so bad! But I agree.

What lesson was the Wes? lol
Lol. Remember the people who complained about the fireworks.

Anyone around delco have a place to neet at and ride up?
Don't know where that is. Probably somewhere to meet hallways?

Don't set up shop near the camp fire if you want to not be dead from lack of sleep in the morning ;) at least people enjoyed the floating tent trick.
Yeahhhhh haha this.

YES. By the way it's going ....this trip will be huge. We are meeting up with a northeast US yota club that is a bunch of mutual friends with the AMJ WF guys so they will have a couple rigs along. Not as many as us though. And a few guys from the Maryland club Element Offroad are coming, a few are original trip guys. And some guys from SWPA offroad. So... It's gona be a blast.

Hows the trails on rims? do they get real dinged up? I have my TJ on some nice rims (dc2) and 32 inch off road tires and don't want to shit up my rims (I know its a jeep but I still like nice rims) and would look into a spare set if necessary. I'm tentatively in for now! Looking to make it a definite!!!!! I have a TJ with a 2 inch lift with hopefully 2" more this spring! I have a winch and high lift jack also in case anyone needs a tow when they get stuck! ( I do alot lol part of the experience I guess!)

Can't wait!!
