Ah Ron NO! not the dirty 30

I will have spare 30 shafts this year, I don't think I will need them for the 8.8

That said, anyone running a d35 that wants a set of spare shafts, I will bring them to rausch for this trip and sell to you pretty darn cheap if you want em.

If someone needs one, I'll probably sell them for an arm and a leg

I'm not really that mean

It's a black trail. We had a spare on the trail with us, but the bolt holes were jacked up and I didn't want to risk breaking a bolt that would have prevented me from being able to drive home. I have a buddy with another spare for me until I can get my chromollys with super joints

But I've never heard of anyone running them. If I did, and could get a review that may talk me into saving money.

I think I know of a few guys on the board running them, user freeskier comes to mind. I don't know if ECGS would carry them if they were that bad. I heard they are comparable but TEN has a great warranty/customer service. Screw it, go w/ RCVs!

I may be back in. I'll be broke as shit, so cheap beer and hotdogs this time around.

I'll probably have to replace a tie rod end before then though. Maybe I can get it done under warranty.

I figure if I am gona drop coin on shafts, might as well go RCV. maybe in the 44 I'll swap. I found a d30 locally, 4.88s, alloy usa shafts, lockright, for 450. problem is I dont have that on hand. I was gona buy and keep shafts, keep housing for later down the road, and sell the locker. But I can't swing it ATM... it's sad. Ah well.

RCVs are beast, I would cryo the R/P if you throw those in, then you should be pretty stout.

Just come, one of us will take care of you! I always bring more then enough food and s'mores when I camp, and in terms of beer, we are in PA and you can only buy by the case.

Ugh...just stay away from the gonzo. Trying to offroad with a monkey on your back whacking your skull with a hammer is not fun. That's what a night of drinking the darkest 10% abv beer will do to you. This time it's just vodka cocktails and shots of wild turkey for me.

There's enough time left, let me get the brew partner going when he gets back from the OC car show this weekend and I may have a 5 gallon keg or two to bring with me. It'll be a low gravity nice summer ale.

We will see. Not positive how I'm getting there yet. Either towing with my dads truck, James, or another friend will tow me down.

Goodyear MT/Rs, check. New bumper, check. Winch, check. Hopefully I'll be able to check off the lift in time, but so far so good.

I think I am gona grab one at the local JY and beef it up, I don't know how much you'd want for it? If not I can pass on the deal to someone else either way. What are you going to? I am going to do something along the lines of the ruff stuff steering w/ 1 ton chevy TRE's me thinks. I gota read more.

We straightened it out and I drove home, believe it or not. Wheel is straight too

I didn't have any steering in my drivers tire during this picture however.
