Keggy, What are the laws about doors in PA? I am hearing a bunch of different things. Some say you need them and others say you don't.

I may be bringing my friend and his family with. He used to own a wagoneer and some other vehicle he would take off road here and there and he wants to take his kids camping. I'll have to try and convince him to only bring himself

I will be doorless. The PA law does not say you can't be doorless. Some LEO are mis-interpreting the law. Doors on a Wrangler are not a safety feature. I have driven in PA many times doorless and have not had an issue. I have not had an encounter with LEO either, however.

Ok, should I take a picture of the safety warning in my hardtop to show them it is not a safety feature? Lol

Do that if you go to court. Try it with LEO and you will probably just piss them off.

Enough of this talk, you need to explore more of the forum, 99% of the folks here could care less what generation Wrangler you have, as long as you have one and wheel it once in a while.

And even if you don't wheel it, the people who matter won't judge!

Factory removable equipment and it's not for safety, so no doors is a good as long as you have at least 1 rear facing mirror. Rearview counts.

I'm wondering if it will rain or not...

I have a decent point and shoot but no mount for it. I think my brother is going to come so he can take pictures and video

I'm up for whatever doesn't get my Jeep dirty.

I'll bring one of my cameras. Maybe we can get a little crazy and to an on trail rig shot.

Canon 5D MKII and EF 17-40 f/4L

The camera doesn't matter so much as having manual controls. That's from my car rig that's a metal bar with two suction cups that attach to the hood. The car is probably only moving 5mph; it's mostly done with editing. I have a lighter camera that would be better, but I don't think I have a wide enough lens for it.

This one probably took about 2 hours to edit:

My shots are ameteurish compared to some of the guys on the photography forums I'm a member of. I need lighter and longer poles for the rig.
