Sorry to hear that Barrie but I understand.

Weather forecast actually looks to be improving a bit. Sunday still looks very nice.

Fair warning to everyone. I almost never answer my phone. A text is the most effective way to reach me.

50/50 are good chances to me. And it will probably be a typical thunderstorm so we can go eat for a few hours while it rains then hit the trails again. Sunday looks nice.

I like this... because I always feel awkward calling someone I don't know.

And as far as James and I discussed last night. He's fine with some rain. The only issue is that we have to take the dog. So, I might just have to find a way to sneak him into a restaurant... HMM

Haha awh. I'm sure we can talk them into it when we say we have 20 hungry people hopefully.

I feel like we can just plan meals and crap around the storms and wheel with some rain will be more interesting.

I know a lot of people planned on camping but I'm kinda puzzled why some people are dropping out because of the rain...I figured rain would enhance the off-road experience, but then again, I don't know anything about off-roading.

I prefer wheeling in the woods with the top down. I'm not interested in tearing my soft top. Wheeling also requires getting out of your vehicle and inspecting the terrain/obstacle ahead of you. It's not fun in a thunderstorm.

I got caught in a big storm coming home from the Jeep show last week. Not fun.

I'm waiting until Sunday.

You should come Saturday anyway and just hang out! Besides, it's 50% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms. That's a pretty big chance that we won't be affected all that much.

And 50 percent means half the days like that it rained. That doesn't mean rain all day. It could be just a shower.

Yeah I'm kind of looking forward to the excitement I wheel with my top on and windows out anyways to keep the sun off of me and mud out of the cab.

I'm gonna have the hardtop on, and more than likely the A/C if I can. Not interested in cleaning mud out of the Jeep.

Well, for those of us staying in hotels/motels, it's too late to cancel without penalties (not that I planned on cancelling anyway...) but it is what it is. If the wheeling conditions suck and everyone cancels, we're making the best of it and just visiting area attractions, and maybe a trek off to Hershey Park to visit Chocolate World!

Anyway, whatever the case, I'm gonna enjoy my weekend, rain or shine.

So as far as the rain/storms ... It's the east coast during our 'rainy' season. Most storms come and go within less then an hour ... so hide in ur jeep til it stops. Also if anyone one is interested after wheeling Sunday we will be going to a nice rock jump, everything from 10 ft to 40 ft to jump off of or just a nice dip in the river if you like. There is also a rope swing too. It's about 40 minutes southeast of RC. Can't wait to wheel on Sunday. Wish I was there the whole wknd! And for those of you wheelin alone I have a full load if anyone wants some company in their rig.
