Wheeling near Birmingham AL

I live just south of B'ham, and, not being a local, I need some places to go get a little dirty. My rig is also my daily driver, so I try and avoid the really harsh stuff. If you know of any good spots, and maybe would even like to meet up, send me a message.

There's some power line trails off Derby Parkway just below Trussville.

Also, since you're like me and don't look to do extreme stuff, watch out for recommendations for Grey Rock. It's terrain is not friendly to noobs from what I hear.

I was looking hard a grey rock. If it wasn't my daily driver, I wouldn't mind beating it up more, but if I wheel on Sunday, it's still gotta get me to work Monday morning. Sad to hear it might be too hardcore for me. I do love a good power line trail though.

Don't go off of my word only; I've only heard about it. I haven't seen it for myself.

It might be more of a drive than you want, but I'm planning to go try Stony Lonesome just south of Cullman tomorrow. 1400 acres and plenty of noob trails.

I would love to but I promised the GF that we'd go together and she's unavailable tomorrow. Long story.

If y'all do some other dates please post.

Stony was VERY nice. Spent 7 1/2 hours there and didn't scratch the surface. It would treat your daily driver nicely. Mine's bone stock and I only got stuck once (and I was 90% sure I was going to stick but had to try it anyway).
