Wickenburg AZ Run

On Sunday the 16th a group of wheelers from HigherGround4x4 headed out to put a little dirt on the tires. We hit the road about 7:30am and made our way to Wickenburg where we first hit dirt. The goal was to do a little geocaching, history finding, desert exploring, site seeing, mine seeking, and off roading. We did all of that and had a great day. Our day ended at Lake Pleasant just about dark thirty. It was a long day but well worth it. I am always amazed at Arizona and how much if it I have yet to see. The pics are from our resident photog, Skatchkins. Thanks for a great run!

Looks like you guys had a great time. I still need to try and make my way to some of the trail farther north sometime.

Thats a nice trail. I've ran that 50 mile loop on quads starting from Lake Pleasant up through castle hot springs, buck horn road which turns into buck horn wash then cut over onto the trail that takes you through that small covered tree area.

No pics that I can find. But picture the insuance guy getting out of his car and after looking at the Jeep and taking a few pics asking "What did you hit after the Jeep caught fire?"
Me: "Nothing... Why?"
Him:"Oh. So the jeep looked like this before the fire?"
