This could be a good idea for another trip soon, I've never been to race point.

I'm jealous of you guys that get to wheel in wooded areas. Deserts are very common around here and fun, but I would love to try something like that.

I grew up in Provincetown and Race Point is nice but you can't drive on it with out a sticker and they only give out so many a year. And the are hard to get now. And there isn't much else to do down the Cape as far a 4X4 trails anymore. The National Seashore and local towns closed all the good trails.

You also have to go through an inspection by the National Seashore to see if you have the right tires and equipment to drive on the beach. If your tires are deemed too aggressive you don't get a sticker. And a short film and lecture are also involved.

Come on up, that's all we have around here. Oh, and this has been a dry summer for us.

Haha, I'm so glad I got rid of my sidesteps and put in the rock rails. That would have been painful, thankfully the only damage I got was on my skid plates, the rock rails don't even seem damaged at all.

Oh, but I lost one of my underbody LED light pods

Haha, can't even spot yourself. If I remember my own reaction, I think you freaked out more than I did.

Got my alignment earlier this morning, took a look underneath while it was on the lift. Almost destroyed my gas tank skid plate, got a few nicks in my diff's, but my control arms are fine, and my rock rails seem undamaged as well.

Oh, that reminds me. I -highly- recommend finding an NTB (ntb.com) in your area and buying a 3 year alignment warranty. It's only like $70 and gives you free unlimited alignments for 3 years, regardless of why or how often you get them. If you need them as often as I apparently have, definitely worth it.

NTB couldn't align my Jeep. They didn't have the right equipment. But Town Fair Tire did, and they have the same plan.
