Bestest Camp Spot Ever

We headed out over a recent long weekend to the bestest camp spot with our new camper

Not only is it less the 30 minutes to a small country town it is extremely hard to find plus less than a five minute drive for good mobile reception (optus)

We could camp close enough to the river to get an endless supply of water for the hot water system to supply the shower.

Freshly chopped up firewood was left by the previous campers

We had a choice of sitting under small waterfalls sitting in shallow pools or swimming in several deep water holes

The view up one of the rivers

The view down the other looking out on the swimming hole

\
Even the insects were pretty

Some of the natives weren't so friendly but we didn't bother them and they didn't bother us

We did a day drive to a famous Hut

Part Two
Found a couple of old huts

With an old Bus

Check out the wood paneling

Very complex dash

Loved this dead tree

Another potential camping spot for the future

Thanks for taking the time to read this report

No wonder it looks like summer! Too cold in US for that right now. Nice trip!

Nice post, and awesome pics!

My first though- wonder if there are any trout in that little river?

Even if this wasn't in Australia, I would tell people it is so we could keep it to ourselves...quite the little slice of heaven you have there! Thanks for sharing.

Those are some very nice pics. Great spot for sure! Gotta find a spot like that here to take my daughter camping for her first time!! She'd love it. Doubt she'd care too much for those snakes though. Those were a good size!
