Burro Wash Outside of Boulder, NV

This is a fairly level trail for the first several miles but gets a little rocky once you get out into the wash area. There is some minor up and down hill areas that make it an enjoyable ride in and out. Overall about a 4 hour road trip taking the same trail in as coming out. Nice beach area once you get down to the Colorado River.

No Coords. The trail starts southeast of Boulder City off of Buchanan Road. You have to go east of the Power Station and head Southeast into the desert. I would do the trail again, if you are planning a trip down this way, let me know, we might be able to get a small group together again.

Head east from the substation on the likeliest powerline road. Before the road curves there'll be a fence and that sign in Ray's first picture, to reassure you that you're on the correct trail.

Don't fall for any of the side trails that go to individual power towers like I did, unless you want a slightly nicer view.

Thanks for the pics, Ray.

Thx for the info! I'm only a couple hours away and that looks fun. Jeeps out of commission right now for axle upgrades but I'll have to come down and check it out before the heat of summer hits.
