A bunch of us from both Carolina off road community and WF got together to get dirty in the mud today and soak up some sun. Here are the first pics. Thanks to all whom came out it was a blast. Shell and Keith or anyone else who came today please add your pics of everyone. One person made a video too, hope we can see it!

She was fine but it was a bit much for her with all the bumping around this time and the tree smacking her in the face through my open Jeep. I had so much fun though going back through the way we came in and through that big mud part at the bottom of the hill. Did anyone make a video?

I cleaned mine up at lunch today. I was wrong when I said it didn't get that muddy, it was all underneath. I had mud all over me when I got back to work.

We had a blast though!

Can anyone recommend how to safely clean your engine? I've got mud all over the place under my hood. Any ideas?

If u pressure wash with only water from a light distance you'll be fine. Stay off the air box and the distributor.

Looks like fun good job y'all!

Had a guy at Advance Auto today tell me that my 2010 JK doesn't have a distributor? Anyone verify or tell me where it is under the hood so I know what to avoid?

It should have coil packs. Which are located sealed units above each cylinder.

Atleast, thats what I though automotive manuacturing was moving to.

Well, anyway, looks like fun! I need to hit the trails again soon.

Watch the Trails in Raleigh thread, too. That is the one where we tend to post up the next date to gather.

Everyone would love to have you join us!
