Colorado Trails

Dempsey and I hit up some trails in CO this past weekend before heading over to Moab. We ran Red Cone, Radical Hill and Black Bear. All three lived up to their reputation. Excellent high country trails, and a great experience for flat-landers like us.

Very nice!! You hit Colorado on a weekend that had some great weather. It's been pretty hot here this summer but now it is becoming perfect for being outside. One day I will get out there to Black Bear and run that trail since you always hear about it. Good stuff and thanks for stopping by our neck of the woods, those pictures are fantastic!!

Dude...great pics! Beautiful scenery. Those pictures have me more stoked to move out west next year.
Here in Florida we have scrub palms, and just when u get sick of looking at scrub palms.......you turn a bend in the trail and there's some more freaking scrub palms. Pretty boring scenery.
Mountain goats we're cool. Can't believe they'd let you get so close.

I've wanted to do Black Bear for the longest time now, maybe next year! Hopefully I'll make it to Moab as well.

We did the trails with a friend. Drove home and ordered a Jeep. Now we can go back with our own.

I have done red cone and radical hill but still have not done black bear, even though friends have told me that I have. I would remember.

Yeah I think they only thought I was on the run. I know that I have not done it. I will be doing that area in August of 2013.

So many trails and not near enough time and/or money.
