If you are going to meteor crater, you must check out Grand Falls!!

The drive from Peach springs ok and it does take you to the river, and technically it is in the Grand Canyon. This is really after the deep canyon stuff. If you are near Meteor crater, you have to check out Grand Falls..

It's official, I am headed there, no doubt. As everyone else said, had no idea you could drive down...a must on my list of trails to hit while in the south west.

Thanks for sharing, Mark. If we got this information earlier...we were nearby in June.
But I think it was not our last trip through the Western States

Thanks for the photos and the idea!!! Now the list grows longer again. How's the edges?

Hiked halfway to the bottom last year and the smell of all the mule dung broiling in the afternoon sun about brought us to our knees. Driving jeeps would be much better.
I would't mind being on that road trip as well.

Made my trip to the bottom of the GC on 9/11/2014. Drove from SE TN in my 2dr JK and had a blast. The CO river was muddy at the time but still beautiful. My wife packed a bologna sandwich and Dr. Pepper for the occasion!

We are going to the Canyon this weekend and I'm thinking of doing this trail. It looks more like a road than a trail though. I thought at the bottom you drove through the creek bed, but in the video it looks like they just built up a road over/next to it. Are the views worth the 3hrs total to take the drive? Are there any cool hiking stops off the road, or at the bottom?
