earls ford, ga side

Went on a semi impromptu trip to little road called Earls Ford off Warwoman Road in GA. Had my buddy with a 2wd Toyota TRD. Gotta give credit to the TRD, it can hang pretty well. The factory locker makes it a formidable buddy.

Looks GREAT!! I did some bubbling around in a river myself this weekend. ALMOST got stuck in it, nose 1st. I really need lockers!!!

I love the muddy trail pic especially.

buddy in the yota got stuck. we made two passes through the river just fine and i told'm to go back through and play for pictures. he wandered too far off the hard bottom and dropped his front end off in a sandy hole. I"m just glad i had room to pull from. those TRD's with the rear selectable locker are ba'dass, i gotta give'm credit!

My Dad and I are going camping/rafting this weekend on the Chattooga. I was looking for some forest roads around where we are staying. I have a stock 2007 JK with 265/75/16 firestone mts. I saw this road/water crossing during my searching. Is the crossing (depending on the river level) fairly easy. I dont have any recovery gear yet either... Are there some other good roads/trails to check out?
