I want a place to offroad other than alleys, and old abandoned parking lots with large pot holes.

Nice pics, and Cute Pup.

Great post!

I have this theory that lots of new Wrangler owners come here, read some of the threads, and think they need thousands of $$ worth of additions before they can go have fun. So it's nice to see a great YJ that's mostly stock, with a newbie owner out having some fun and getting dirty.

Good tires and a tankful of gas. That's what you need for some adventure.

Real nice place nothing to much...but got to use my 4wd My Jeep went further than her dad's dodge truck and his is higher than mine and bigger tires. :P
At some places there was about 2ft of snow... and my springs were scrubbing it all Gonna look into getting a SOA kit.

Its not really a trail we were "scouting" for hunting season. You gotta have a game lands hunting license to be able to step foot on it.
Edit P.S Do you know of any good trails around here that my YJ could go on?

the only place i know off on this end of the state is Uwharrie National Forest, they have some descent trails, i only have a 2" BB and was able to make it down the toughest trail they have, and they have easier trails as well.

It is alot of fun down there...go camping and ride all day, you should check it out.

Hehe I went were I could. It was fun. I've learned alot from here and my girlfriends dad is letting me help him rebuild his Cj-5 and that I'm excited about cuz I'll learn alot from working on it. Soon as he get his done we can go to some good spots....after I get my new tires and lift that is.

I agree! I just got my wrangler, its completely stock but I still take it for some light off-roading. Jeeps were made for the trail, they do great stock. But a few nice mods don't hurt lol

Definitely check out Uwharrie National Forest. If you like mud there is plenty of red NC clay to go around but doesn't open until April 1st at 8am.

Uwharrie Off
