Great pics and beautiful country! I have family just north of Fort Collins. Was out there for two weeks a couple of years back, by far the best vacation I ever had.

thanks guys,,,,the best trailsm are just getting ready to start opening up for the summer. it has been a real mild winter and normally you wouldn't be able to get to this elevation for at least another 4 weeks so it was a rare treat. glad you liked them.

Thanks, it has its fair share of scenery and things to do but just a little too crowded and land locked as far as open spaces are concerned.

By all means worth a visit as you can go to the "mountains" and the beach in the same day and get great pizza in between.

Enjoy the wheelin and again thanks for the great pics!

Man, I was just there on Friday... I actually live in Rollinsville. I still have a pretty much stock Jeep, and wasn't able to make it over the pass; I got stuck shortly after trail 772 branches off, right around 11,000 feet. There was a large snow drift on one of the hairpin turns, the bottom was melting quite a bit, and there was a decent sized ditch under it... I kept sinking in when my rear tires hit the snow. Did you guys make it all the way over the pass?

Let me know next time you guys plan a trip into the hills... I don't know how well I will be able to hang with my stock (for now) TJ, but I'm sure it would be a lot of fun.

we actually ran into the same snow. except we hit the trail from the St Marys/Alice side.
we went by way of Yankee hill like you a few weeks sooner. but either way there should be much more snow still. scary!! if it were a little earlier in the day we would have tried to break it. but being late and on a side hill we thought better of it. it's a great place to hang out for sure. is Rollins Pass East and Jenny Creek open yet?

It is a bit scary how early it's all melting out... I will certainly take advantage of it, though! I haven't been up Rollins Pass yet this year, I plan to hit it up on Saturday if I get the chance. Let me know if anyone else wants to check it out with me!
