Gore VA Stuck in Mud

Near the Cove VA I got my ass stuck in deep on a factory 1990 jeep wrangler in some quick sand/sluge shit!! But had a good time. It took two jeeps and a truck pull me out.

yes great times. at first it was funny that i was stuck but after awhile it was getting alittle annoying. It took about 3hrs to get out. With diggging and yanking and after smashing out the truck winshield cause the chain snapped then it was starting to get serious.

But anther great story to tell

Cool i see your in Romney. Yeah it was private land but its near the cove by the boyscout camp in Gore va and the sandmine area. Most of it is sandmine land but some is land owners who don't care but the cove is the best. You gotta watch out for the quick sand. I was going really slow cause we wasen't sure if it was solid and it was like a covered hole i hit. Just fell boom!!!!

Ummmm yea... DO NOT use chains, thats just asking for a serious injury, damage or even worse. Chains can not handle the tensile strength especially when jerking or tugging on them.

Go get yourself an actual tow strap, withy looped ends.... no hooks and no chains.

Nice pics, looks like time for some better tires.

I live out here but i just started getting into it myself. the jeep is new to me. I did a rebuild on motor and put on the bumpers and side rails new clutch

The jeep is great. It's time for some suspension and wheels and tires

Yeah it was all we had. But i didn't worry about the jeep since there wasen't any class but the truck pulling smashed it's windsheild but it was only an off road truck and he didn't care. We took the windshield out after wards. LOL The jeep is new to me and i had to start with the motor and now i will deffinitly invest in suspension and tires.

yes it is. What is funny is we thought it was just shallow puddles but i just fell in when i hit it.

Yeah i have a rebuilt motor in it. A 4.2 carbed MC2100. Next is suspension and tires. Im not going extreme. I enjoy more of pavement pounding and trail riding but im thinking about 3inch spring lift and about 31 or 32 inch tires. Just something where i don't have to change everything else on the suspension.

Better to try and get stuck then to not try at all! At least now you have a good story!
