halloween trip

went for a little rip up a local valley to a nice lake/dam at the top.was suprised to see snow.ended up gettin a little stuck, and was sliding backwards down the last steep hill section.it was kinda scary but all good.it would have been better if i could have found somebody to come with me...and some warmer clothes.it was crazy cold up there.i think it got colder once it cleared up and the sun came out..looking forward to going back.there are side roads everywhere to explore.

Rule #1...never jeep offroad alone

Sorry, just had to throw that at you!
Great pics, nice looking Rubi (I have an 03) and boy, if I could get up there I'd be happy to tag alone-those trails look great! Much better than what we have down here in New Hampshire!

seem like this is becoming a regular thing..i need a lift!ive been wheelin for twenty years and this is my first stock 4x4.seems if im not hitting the xmember, its the rear bumper/receiver hitch.i figured id pay it off first instead of lift and tires.its now payed off but im broke...and a picture of a weird mushroom i found while hiking around..wonder it its magical!!!hmmm..best not to find out.

i know...but if i waited around for someone to wheel with,i'd never get out there.i probably wheel by myself at least 80% of the time.ive got lots of tools and recovery gear but i agree its alot more fun with other people...and having a rig with a real set of tires.lol!man i cant wait to lift this thing.
