Obviously you didn't go that route but I have to wonder what the matter with dogs would have been?

Your right there were signs saying no dogs what so ever to be taken down to Point Arid so we did try to take an alternate route that turned out to be totally flooded. Two of the bog holes had water going over the bonnet so we decided to double back a give it a miss.
I don't understand the logic of no dogs what so ever on one beach only. Possibly greenies on a power trip. There are no fences surrounding the park to stop the wild dogs but two dogs in a car risk the vitality of the whole reserve. Just doesn't make sense.
Is a magnificent part of the world though.
We couldn't get down to Point Arid as it was too wet did see the sign

I have heard Australia has issues with feral animals and I agree two domestic dogs won't have any impact compared to what is wild regardless of where you are.

I hope I can make a trip like this someday.

Awesome pictures there, and thanks for sharing the trip. Love the Pink Floyd T-shirt there in the first set of pics, btw.

I need to make my way out there someday! Aside from the 20hr flight! For now I'm just stuck with my jeep in the AZ desert!
