Saw the pic. I didn't look that bad and I went through the worst spot I could find out there.

Ok, I have a ? My husband got the brilliant idea that I should drive my Jeep down there tomorrow too.... So, my ? is, knowing how crowded it will be due to the holiday, and since I've never wheeled my Jeep anywhere other than the grass, does this seem like a good idea? I am not so worried about wheeling myself, but I am concerned about my lack of experience and the amount of coaching I am going to need. I'd prefer to make my first venture offroad be somewhere a bit closer to home, so if I tear something up, I don't have to have it towed so far, and I'd prefer that not everyone and their brother be waiting on stupid ol' me to manage to put her foot in it and get over what ever happens to be in the way. I am really a chicken about tearing stuff up on my girl, and I don't want to hurt her (cause I don't want to pay to have her fixed)

I know you are going to say to do it, but honestly, is this the trip you want a very timid newbie wheeling with you? And are you prepared for the tears that will follow if anything even close to body damage occurs???

Honostly Linda, the only thing I'd like to see more than Trey's new Jeep is you wheeling yours. That being said, you should know that it is going to be super busy there this weekend. If you decide you want to do it this weekend that'll be great, I'm all for it and I don't care about timidity. You've got to start sometime. You'll be in a whole line of Jeeps and I really don't think breaking something is going to be an issue. Normally if there is something really nasty in the way, there is a way around it that isn't as nasty. It's your call. I think you'll be fine to drive but if you want to wait until there are fewer people in the group then that's ok too. In the end you should do whatever you feel comfortable with.

Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow.

Josh

Linda, Barrie went with Josh and me and he had a lot further to go home. I don't really care if I get out of 1st in 4 low all day as long as everyone has a good time. Just to be out there is plenty for me I can do the crazy stuff anytime I care to. We'll only do what your comfortable with. Almost everything with any dificulty has a go around trail. That's one of the things that makes this place so good, from mild to wild and most of the time on the same trail just depends what the driver wants to do. That said, I'm outa here to the Bay!
