Larimer County Colorado Trails Cut Off

First, all of our thoughts go out to those caught up in the flash floods that are going on now as what I right now is simply insignificant. It is an update only.

The great trails in Larimer County, Colorado are cut off from use now because of the floods as the roads leading up to them have been severely damaged. It may take weeks to get some of them open and months to get the Big Thompson Canyon Road (Hwy 34) back open. The trails themselves will likely be even more challenging than ever given the heavy run off through them. I look forward to getting back up there as I stare out my window at the rain that is still coming down.Click image for larger version
