Latest Rausch Creek Trip!

Me and my friend made a weekend trip to Rausch Creek. Both jeeps performed great without any major issues. Heres some pics from the trails.

This next group of pics is of a part on the comp course that I attempted and to my surprise I made it through. I was willing to go all out and try, figuring I would end up having my buddy drag me over the boulders of the last section. It took quite a few attempts to get the right line going and keep it there but the jeep pulled through. Very proud of it.

From beginning to end....

I know the feeling. The last two trips before this one I bent the tie rod. Luckily each time I was able to bend it back to get myself home. This trip was great, no major breaks. The weather was a little chilly for camping, but we had plenty of fire wood.

Is there lots of hills at Rausch? Cause I live like 6 hours away but wanna check it out sometime. Would I have fun with 33s and open diffs?

You can have tons of fun on 33s with open diffs. Our first couple trips there were done that way and absolutely loved it! Run greens and blues and you have no troubles.

We have our group going up the 15th of December if anyone wants to come along. We are all local though, but have some people from Pittsburgh that come out.
