They work real well provided you have the right tires just like other rigs. My friend has one and He usually MUDs deeper then I do. I'm not a mudder but I've been buried up to the axles

I dont think he has ever taken it in deep mud... but it doesnt seem that bad on the trails we were riding. We always joke around with him telling him its a soccer mom jeep but he proved me wrong.
