Amazing photos! Thanks for posting. I can't believe I never drove that trail when I was stationed in SoCal. I spent a fair bit of time towards the Big Bear area as well as a run down to Anza Borrego, but never drove the Mojave Road trail. Bummer!! Looks like a fun run that anyone can make.

I would recommend it. Personally I wouldn't want to just blow through this trail. I like to take it at a relaxed pace and soak in all the scenery, sights and history.

yea im gonna take the Ram on the 12th and cruise, the go fast stuff is just waaay fun out there especially with the group we ride with. everyone is built for desert speed. we still go to all the sites we just go at 50 to 70mph lol. one mine you need to go check out is Globe mine off of celso cima. its tricky to get back there but its awsome, we went on our last trip and i had to push one 2wd truck up the hill and and pull another up at the end of the road. lol
