Please share pics of your rides in the Lone Star State! Please give a general description of the location. Living in Texas 42 yrs, still trying to see it all! Thanks. This is the east cut jetties at Port Mansfield.
I'm in Austin, TX. I haven't been able to actually hit any trails yet, as i'm a newby, but I still was able to go on a small muddy patch of cleared land today.
Hey, do ya'll want to try and organize a big group trip to Hidden Falls or to another off road park soon? Because I haven't been to Hidden Falls yet, and would like to go! Anyone interested? unk:

Ahhh! Why do I not know about hidden falls.!! I just googled its... It's like a freaking playground for adults lol. Do you guys just got for the day? I live in San Antonio and had no idea about this spot! Shame on me lol
I want to see Big Bend sometime soon! Mark Doiron and his buddies went a few weeks ago and it only made me want to go worse! I think I'm going to start planning a trip for the spring.
I just got back from a 4000 mile trip to Big Bend and New Mexico and I could leave again tomorrow.
I drove the entire Old Ore Road and Glen Springs Road. I also traveled over half of the River Road. Great fun and the views were fantastic! I camped at Ernst Tinaja and photographed the Chisos in the most beautiful pre-dawn light with a setting almost full moon hovering overhead.
The stars are simply amazing and ultra wide angle astro photography is a joy there.
In terms of Geology, Big Bend has it all and I would never get tired of exploring it.
By the way, the Rangers try to scare you off of Black Gap Road and they succeeded with me but after viewing the video, I will definitely be trying it on my next trip.
