It was a lot of fun. Can't wait to go again. Good job on the vids Kevin. I'm glad you got some footage of us. My cousin was very "rookie" with my vid cam.
SMORR has some really fun creek runs.
We used to ride at Pickwick, it had a couple of little challenging spots and the run up the creek ended at a beautiful waterfall.
Creek runs are especially fun in the summer because you can stop and play in the water and cool off.
That looks incredible, haha it makes me wanna put a snorkel on my jeep and try something that goes up to the hood, hmm what would you have to do to be ready for that besides a snorkel?
And I'm jealous it looks like you all had a blast I've been tryin to meet up with some people from the forum but NOONE ever replies to my posts
Around here they give you all kinds of hell if you are in ANY creeks. Huge fines for just crossing. The cops have been doing everything they can to shut down the 4 wheelers. Its making it harder to do those kinda runs.
I went mountain biking the other day and I ended up going through a creek with my friend in the middle of nowhere, it was perfect, about 3 feet deep. Only problem Is there isn't a way into the river xD
You are about 1hr and 30 from the area, park is 15mins off the crittenden exit on i-75. Not much rock, the creek has rock but its covered by water.. There are some very steep hill climbs, if wet I would not even think about a few of them unless you had lockers and a winch. It was very very dry the day we went, so no issues..
