Turkey Bay looks like a lot of fun, I still can't get over that great little camera, it's awesome. Your Jeep does real good Josh, great video, thanks for putting it up!

Thanks for the nice words. All the credit for the video goes to my passenger, Scott. He provided both cameras and his time editing and compiling the raw video. Did a great job too, IMO. I will have one of those GoPro cameras (the one mounted under the Jeep) before I go to Moab. It will be perfect to mount all over the Jeep and get awesome Moab videos.

Great Video! I was pain as the JK's tire was being winched into the hill side.

He's a member over on IAJ. He has apparently been there before (Turkey Bay) but had never ran The Gauntlet. I started out trying to spot him but there were other people telling him what to do as well. I bowed out and by the time he got up there nobody was telling him what to do. He drove it up the crack for some reason instead of straddling the ditch so he did some damage to the top. Cracked all the way through. Here's the pic he posted over at IAJ.

I fell right before he did. That hill was slick! (Thank goodness The Gauntlet wasn't)

I've been once on fourwheelers. The most challenging hill I ever climbed in my 20 years of riding is there. I have pics. Look forward to taking my Jeep someday.

Great vid.. Just got done watching it a little while ago.. The hill that the XJ had trouble with at the end.. What kind of surface was he on.. It got slippery fast in that one spot.. You made it look easy though.. Poor JK, and LOL Toy.. Great under jeep cam.. Interesting Idea and it worked out great

Slightly off topic but how did you manage to get almost an hour long video on youtube? I always ran into time limits and filesize constraints.

They recently upped the time limit to 15 minutes, and when the guy who did the video (my passenger) went to upload it in 15 minute pieces it said his account had been upgraded. He can now upload up to 2Gig files with no time limit.

Torture... Sitting watching people with all the mods and so little knowledge of how to get from point A to point B. But dang your getting good and make it look easy. I was watching with Ryan and I told him "Josh should back up the middle one" 10 seconds later you did. lol I really felt for the guy in the 4 door but watching the wall and his line we both saw it comming. it's a shame because it's not a hard run up. Ryan was kidding me because I go up then come back down it. Dang stock 4 banger wish I could get in the damn thing! Thinking about taking the pills to get in it and taking a nap in the driveway and then going to TB. lol

By the time he got there no one was spotting him anymore. I explained that above. Yeah, I hadn't backed up it in a while, thought I might as well since the 4 door guy was riding shotgun with me. I haven't driven down The Gauntlet yet but I might try that sometime.

Great video,

BTW Josh I found a donor jeep for my katrina TJ! So that means I can do a 4.0 in place of the 2.5, or also 5.3 or 4.8 chevy in place of the 4banger. Im kinda leaning towards the 4.0.. it would take way less to do, $ and time, what you guys think?
