Tuttle creek OCT 2 trip.

Tuttle Creek ORV park Kansas. Oct 2, 2010.

Had a nice camping/wheeling trip with the wife and kids (dog too!).

Got up to The camping area Friday night and met up with Jetskifreak and his wife...Then set up camp and hit the sack.

Got up early Saturday morning and we headed down the road to the ORV park. We did a couple trails to wake up alittle bit before the others arrived. After doing a few trail I got a call from Cavey saying he was about 30mic out. so we just set down in the bottom and played around til he showed up.

Jetski, decided he wanted to play around in the mud in his new rubi....and get stuck.

I gave him a little tug and out he came...BONUS POINTS to Jetski...first mud hole/wheeling and first damage. .....

Oh and I must say....Sorry Abby...I didn't mean to put all of the trail pin-striping on ya'lls new rubi.

He did great ...

Then cavey showed up and we all went back up to the top to the staging yard to wait for a couple of Cavey's friends and air down. When they got there we headed out ....

Found a nice hill called "ARP hill"...It was a nice loose steep climb with a twist at the top...then you had about 30ft farther up to some ledges to get to the top.
For some reason a few of the guys thought I was a little crazy when I took a little different lines at the top but meh...got to have fun right. Oh and part of the twist at the top was you had to turn around to get up the ledge. Well the do able ledge for everyone. I went straight up and over a different slab.

Then Jetskifreak needed to head out so we decided to have lunch and hit the trails back up after chow....

Back out after chow....

This was Cavey's favorite ledge.

Great pics, Tim.....thanks for posting. Those new fenders and flares make my 33's look TINY. I haven't really noticed how disproportional they looked until seeing these pics. I knew I needed bigger tires to fill the wells, but WOW.

Hopefully JetSkiFreak can post his pics here as well as the videos he took.

Had a good time wheeling with you guys. Definitely have to do it again.

Great pictures, kinda regret not being able to wheel with you guys more than I did. Also, my photographer (cousin) pretty much only took pics of my heep but I did sneak in quick photo while we were taking a short break.

Some pictures earlier in the day of my rig. We meet up with a couple of guys that didn't mind my noobness and did some fun stuff on the ledges.

This was a pucker moment for me!

Great pics, man! It was cool meeting you and wheeling with you. You've got a great Jeep. We'll definitely have to meet up at Tuttle again!

Waiting on Mike's pics as well. Next time I'll be sure to bring an operable camera so I can get some pics of all of us.

That looks like some fun wheeling. It is nice to get together once in a while with others and go out for some fun.

Pictures

I guess I'm just too stupid or lazy to figure out the picture things on here. Seriously, I have to post a separate URL for every picture? I don't have time/care to do that. I can e-mail someone a little more blog savvy than me the files, but I'm just getting frustrated right now.

But here they are...

You're certainly invited out to Kansas for some Flint Hills wheeling. Come on out, we'll have some fun!
