Hey Terry did they tell you I got mine stuck in a mud hole? Well they all said "Hey go through we will pull you out" I ran through it a couple of times and realized I had it 2wd. So that made me brave and I went throught the deep end in 4wd. Frame hit and done LOL, and then my friends all looked around like "I'm not pullin him how about you , "as finging pointing prevailed HAhAHAHAHA . A chopped up toyota with I think 35" pulled me out. But it took a bit to drag the frame off. I dont know if anyone has a pic of it. I wish I had took a pic of the friends on the bank LOL It was a blast, I love mud , its no fun unless you get stuck at least once.

Mud is nasty. You should have seen the rooster tails you were throwing when you went across it sideways. It was fun to watch.

We drove through 70,000,000 miles of dry mud yesterday. Just add water.
There is mud everywhere, especially in my nose and ears - STILL!

Makes me jealous that we don't have that kind of wheeling areas around here. Besides a reduced compacity oil pan, was the rest of the trip carnage free?

Most of us escaped unscathed.... I think the black Rubi on the rocks lost a mirror, JWM1986 lost a disconnect pin and a shackle, but he went back to find the shackle and lost his buddies, so after driving around the entire park, he finally found us.... Some trailer hitches got banged around on the rocks, one particular OU hitch cover still has a rock stuck in underneath it.. But he's out playing in the mud today, so lord knows what he'll tear up today, the guys he's wheeling with are nuts...

The mud where everyone is going through is where Mike lost his mirror. I hate to lead but I knew these guys don't like mud and was weaving between, around, and even over trees down an ATV trail to get around it. I don't care for mud but, mostly I dislike the mud at TB because it smells like you just ran through a sewage ditch. And those chopped up toyota's and sammies do come in handy out there. One pulled me off that loose gravel hill where I lost the tailight on Sat.

I have to say, the BEST part about TB, was being around these folks again.
You couldn't have met a nicer group, seriously! I have no idea why they let ME hang out with them.
Well come to think of it though.... they DID send us off into the wilderness with Gate, and then they ran off to the other side of the park and played in the lake without us, and even though he tried really hard to hide in a dust cloud Gate didn't manage to ditch us.... HEY!!!

For folks who are just getting out there with their Jeeps and learning what they can do, this is a great place to learn. There are all different kinds of things to play on, but unless it's obviously extreme, there isn't much out there that a stocker can't do.

The trails are tight, lots of big trees to reach out and grab you if you aren't careful. I got in some good practice on my maneuvering skills. Thanks to Gate for dodging the mud - you did just fine leading... even if we DID get completely lost out in the middle of nowhere! We still had a good time!

This was a mistake, but I wanted to make sure you guys got to do some stuff that would challange you and your Jeeps, and myself, along with the other Jeeps that went with me would have held you back from that.

In the end when we talked about where we had all been (the same places at different times) I wished we had just stuck together.

That pretty much sums up Turkey Bay. Mild to Wild. Which ever you want.
It was good seeing you and OBM again, Kate.

Now, got my little rig cleaned up and ready for road service again today...

Hey ya'll..........

This is Mike and Christy in the black Rubicon. Betcha didn't even know we were members here, huh? Good to meet all of you Sunday. We'll all have to meet up again sometime. Maybe at some point in time we can go where there are a little more rocks (lot more rocks) and not so much dust. Took every thing but the dash out of the Rubicon to get it clean today. Again, good to meet you all, look forward to another gtg.

Lowell, I thought Trey got some pics of you in the mud, but I may be mistaken.... The camera was so full of dust, it didn't want to work very well....

Ageless, that sticker looks great!

Sorry I am late to the party. I would like to say that we had a great time. It was nice meeting all you folks. I am beginning to agree with some of the other members about the mud, topless and doorless it's a PITA, especially when you have two to clean up.

I am new to wheelin in a Jeep, up until now it's always been in Fords. The wife is new to it in in anything. I think she did pretty good in the 4 door JK. As Gate told me before we started, our Jeeps are more capable than me at this point and he was right. He did say that he could'nt believe she had her 2 month old Jk out there, but after following Josh and Trey all day It came home in one piece without a scratch. Some of those ups and downs were pretty narly.

All in all great day, I am looking forward to the next meet. If I go mudding again I want some of those black and yellow dirty mudder seat covers.

Here's a vid of Lowell throwing rooster tails.

I took several vids, I have everyone doing the rock crawling from end to end. the longest is 8 mins. If anyone wants to see it I can post a link.

Happy trails, Tracy D.

Hmmm. I apparently switched to my soft top sometime while we were on the trail...

This vid is from a few weeks ago.

Gosh, you are all making me look bad.
OBM took an air hose to mine. I disassembled the faceplate on the stereo and blew it out so I could see the display, other than that Ajax is still wearing his battle fatigues!

We were invited to a BBQ yesterday, so really didn't have time to scrub him up.
Man, I feel guilty. I wonder which is worse, built, or expending all of that energy cleaning the Jeep.
