Wheeling for the 1st time in NJ

I bought my jeep less alittle more than a month ago and this past weekend was the first time I was able to take her out.

Went to Split rock reservoir in northern NJ. There were some short trails one of my friends informed me of here. None more than a mile. Nothing compared to the wheeling some of you guys do on here. Can't wait to find and explore other trails in the Tri-State area. Here are some pics of the day and 2 short videos of one of the trails. Hope you guys enjoy!

And heres a link to the 2 videos, I have no clue how to embed a photobucket video on the forum.

2 out of the 3 trails I went on that day I know was 100% legal. The road itself is posted on Google Maps. The powerline trail I can't be 100% on but there was absolutely no posted signs stating no trespassing or anything similar and I looked hard before I entered.

roads are legal, but finding legal trails is a different story.

you should not wheel anywhere that you do not know is 100% legal. wildcatting is the reason why off roaders get a bad reputation. the people who want to shut our "sport" down look for stuff like this to use against us. for the sake of our "sport" be mindful of where you wheel and always tread lightly to minimize your impact on the places where you wheel.

you can still go, just have someone else there with a strap or winch if you get stuck.
