Who needs a jeep, truck or 4x4 to go wheeling?!?!

I saw this dude on the trails this past weekend, and it even had a winch too.

That is only newer beetle I have seen set up like that, looks cool!

Couple weeks ago was going up a fire road to get to the Appalachian Trail. It wasn't too bad of a road but it had some steep and rocky sections to it. Near the end of the road I saw a camp site and was shocked to see their vehicle was a Camaro from the mid 80's!

That VW looks like it even has a small lift... Can the OP confirm that when they took the picture?

I have seen a ton of lifts on all TDIs. They came out with the lifts because the oil pans were too low and were getting cracked from road debris. So this probable does have a lift.

People up in michigan do it all the time at the silver lake sand dunes, it is cool to see some of the stuff people do to a little old bug
