Hey,
I am doing the same thing, slowly.
I have bolted all mine in but it is removed now for restoration.
82' cj-8,9 inch ford rear,dana 30 front. 350 TBI,700 r4, dana 300.
I used the MORE offroad bomb proof motor mounts, and the Novak D-300
to 700 R4 adapter. have not got to the d-shafts yet.

Do some research alot of support out there on this swap.
I wish I could help you out more.
I would be alot further ahead if it was not for ice fishing.
Good luck.

You may be pushing the limits of this forum. There are a few builders on here, but this forum is more geared toward small modifications, newer users and enthusiasts. (Which is totally why I like it!).

I'd suggest some Google time, read up on other threads, and then maybe working with Pirate 4x4 or one of the other forums more geared toward total build outs.

Remember, it's not cheating on this forum as long as your heart remains pure. :-)

Chevrolet & GM Engine Conversions into the 1980-1986 Jeep CJ

There are alot of people building on this site, there is just not alot of cj owners.
