71 cj 5 issues

so my dad bought a 1971 jeep cj 5, it is a frankenstein some one took out the stock engine and steering gear box, and installed a ford 302 with chevy power steering. in doing this they put an electric fan on the front side of the radiator,. thatns not the bad part

we changed the steering column out so it now has tilt steering, and bought a new steering shaft from flaming river. now the issue we are having is making the shaft hook up to the box, the steering shaft is 1DD, and i think the box is 3/4 by 31 spline or 32, the box is a 5691676 saginaw steering box. i am not able to find a joint that will connect them....

Borgeson should have a joint to fit.

If they don't, consider returning the FR 1" DD, and replace it with a shaft for which you can get the right coupler.
