78' CJ5 Parking/marker lighting

Ok, hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction on this...

The front left marker and parking light are inop, have changed the splice point. the right side works perfectly fine flasher and all, as well as the flasher on the tail lights lights.

I do know the left and right parking lights run in series off the same wiring from the power supply module and just splice off. This afternoon I'm going to inspect any grounding points. The wiring from what I dug into looks decent for its age. Currently saving to replace all the wiring w/ painless wiring harnesses. But would like to fix this issue in the mean time.

Probably a bad ground on the housing/light bucket.
To test, make a jumper from alligator clips. Clip one firmly to the housing, other to a good known ground.

I've done a Painless on a CJ. It's good, also expensive.
If I was doing one today I'd use an EZWiring 12-circuit kit for WAY less than a Painless. That's what many of the guys use over on EarlyCJ5.net/forums.

HTH,
