Anyone running a stock style hood prop?

I know most people flip the hood back or put in a modern pressure prop, but I bought a standard kentrol hood prop.

All it says in the directions is to replace whats the year, by my 74 doesn't have an existing prop or holes.

Can snap a pic or two for me if you are running a stock style prop?

In the first picture on the passenger side grill support rod is the small bracket with the hole in it for where the end of the hood prop rod is supposed to go when the hood is up. Dont pay attention to where I have the rod placed.
The second picture shows the rod clipped to the underside of the hood. If you want more pictures send me a pm.
