Cj7 door locks

I have a yj but I have a cj7 hardtop and doors. I wanted to change out the locks in the doors so I can lock up the jeep. Auto zone carries the locks. They don't seem to fit, the arm on the back side of the lock. It doesn't latch the same. I looked at yj locks and cj7 locks, and they are all the same. Same model number. Any ideas on where to get the proper locks? Thanks.

Harleydragon is right here. 81 and earlier CJ's used paddle strikers instead of the rotating cam locks on 82 and later. If your hard top is an 82 or later you will need to get the striker bolts for a CJ-7. Last time I checked NAPA stocked or could order them. YJ strikers are smaller in diameter and the rotating cam will not lock up. 4wd Hardware should be able to get the right striker for either style CJ door.
