Frame Work???

i just bought a 83 CJ and there is a rust hole through the bottom of the frame. should i just pay an off road place to weld it and get it fixed or should i just buy a whole new frame?

Well that would probably depend on what the rest of the frame looks like? Is there just the one spot? Or upon closer inspection do you see numerous other places that are starting to bubble or cumble away? If it's the former over the latter I would fix it. If it's the latter then a new frame might need to be in your future.

Where is the rust hole at? Is it around the rear shackle? Like stated above, it depends on the shape of the frame overall.
