im having trouble changing my rotors in my 84 cj laredo. i got most of the hub assembly off but got stuck at the large lock nut (2" nut) i went out and bought a great neck 2" socket but to my dismay it isnt deep enough

am i doing something wrong? is there a deeper socket that i can use? is there a special tool?

What you need is called a spindle socket...is it a hex nut or is it round with keyways cut in it?

Ok no problem, any of the nationwide auto parts stores should be able to rent you the socket....or you can buy one for 40-60 bucks
