No Fire, Help!

My jeep just quit going down the road, wouldn't start afterward. checked the coil and not getting any fire, put a new coil on ...still no fire....Got power to the coil but nothing. Not the coil wire either. Any suggestions??

Balast resistor or wire?

I bypassed the resistor, but still nothing. I'm gonna trace down the wire issue if I ever get time away from work. lol thanks for the reply though. I'll post if I find the problem.

CHECK the points. If it has them otherwise the usually is a control module. But If It has a coil there is probably points. And make sure they are opening and closing.

Did that and didn't help, even replaced the points dizzy with a HEI system and still no fire from the coil.
