Pcv/Breather

I have a 258 I6 and it has 2 pcv valves and a breather @oil cap hole with a hose to the air cleaner. Question is, is all this nessasary? Could it cause problems?

That's strange, I'm not sure what you mean by the breather at the oil cap hole. So you don't have an oil cap? A few pictures would be nice but 1 hole should be your oil cap 1 hole should have a PCV and the other should be a crankcase breather, which should be hooked to your air cleaner or a breather filter of some sort.
