Pretty sure the pistons rings have gone bad and I'm starting to get gas in the oil of the factory 232 in my 74 Cj-5. I put a new fuel pump on the other day thinking the diaphragm had gone out on the old one. Driving around my property today I noticed a small decrees in oil pressure so I got it back to the shop and pulled the dip stick. The oil level was about a half quart high and smelt like gas again.
So I started thinking I have that Cummins 4bt laying around why not do the swap. What's your guys feelings on that?
