Swivel Shckles

So, considering using the swivel spring shackles to get a bit more flex. This is just a consideration as I am probably going to go spring over very soon and put stock springs or at least very close to stock under the rig and get rid of the arched spring lift. So in an effort to get as much flex out of my leaf spring suspension, this is something that I am researching.

So any input is appreciated. If I had the money I would go 4 link coil over, but till I hit the lotto or a rich relative that I didn't know existed passes away and leaves me a small fortune, that ain't happening.

So please fire away with information, opinions, and suggestions.

I am running a 76 CJ5 with spring over with teraflex shackles and it seems to do well on my Jeep.

I am looking at the Alcan Orbit Eye conversion for my '84 CJ-7. I have also talked with a couple of people who are trying spring sliders which is an old dirt car trick for loading/unloading the rear axle. I wish I knew how they were holding up for them but I like to drive mine on the street and the Orbit Eye seems like the safest alternative to me.
