06 TJ 33" tires

I looking to put 33" tires under my stock 06 TJ. Will a 2" suspension lift work? Or do I need more lift?

I'm sure there are a number of folks with more experience than I can step in here, but IMHO, it's possible to fit 33's with a 2" lift, dependng on how you intend to use the Jp. There's more to consider than simply fitting a 33 in the wheel well. The width of the tire will affect the fit, specifically rubbing at full lock, which means you need to consider the off-set on the wheels you use and/or spacers.

I suggest looking at some of the photo and build threads to see what others have done and the results.

Ok.. I decided to go with 32" x 11.5 tires on a 15 x 8 pro comp wheel with 3.75" BS. As well as a 2" lift. Will this setup look silly, will the tires stick out too far? Any suggestions?

Tires can never stick out too far
