17x9 Raceline Raptor Offset Question?????

Hi All,

I am looking at buying 17x9 raceline Raptor wheels for my 2013 jeep unlimited. They are telling me they are either Zero offset or 5.0 inch backspacing. Everything I read is I shouldn't have more that 4.5 backspacing or -12 offset. I'm looking at putting these wheels with 285 70r 17 DuraTrac I'm nervous about ordering these. I'm new to this and I really appreciate any knowledge.

I don't necessarily want to bump an old thread...but I have this exact same question.

Can someone confirm if either the stock Rubicon tires (255/75/17) or the Duratrac (285/70/17) will work with this rim, and also if it will work without a lift.

If a lift is necessary, is a TeraFlex 1.5" leveling kit enough?

Thanks!!

That's why I went with the 16" x 8 raceline raptor and a 4 1/2 bs and a 285/75/16. wheels and tires were cheaper and had the right offset. Sorry can't help on the 17" wheels.

Thanks. It's a 2015 JKU with brand new BF Goodrich Mud Terrains (Rubi tires)...in the 255/75/17 size. The current rim is 17x7.5 and would like to just upgrade to the Raceline Raptors and was wondering if we could do that without issue.

In the future, might upgrade to the Duratracs in 285/70/17, and thus wondering if the Racelines would work ok with that rubber too.

No problem at all running between 4.5" and 5.0" back spacing on a JK. Width does not matter if you are looking at back spacing.

The AEV's are all 5.2" back spacing and clear the 12.5" tires.

Cheers.
