18x9 Wheels and TPMS

I need help deciding what tire size to get with my new wheels. they are 18x9 Fuel Krank. I would like to keep it at 33" so i can get away with just a leveling kit.

I was thinking 295/65R18 durotracs. thoughts?

Also, I assume the TPMS goes inside the wheels correct? Can I just order some for the new wheels? little confused about that.

assuming your new wheels have proper backspacing (4.5" or less); you can fit a 33" tire with no modifications to the suspension. a leveling kit will give your rig a clean stance, if you're looking to get rid of the factory rake.

yes, TPMS are mounted inside the wheel. they are a part of the valve stem. you can order new ones, or remove the ones in the wheels you're currently running.

SO if I did this right my backspacing is 5" I laid the wheel face down. Then I put a straight edge across it. I measure from the wheel to the edge. It was exatly 5".

I get so confused with this whole wheel size thing.

you did that properly, well done. you might rub a little with the 33s, but you could install some washers on the steering stops and you'll be fine.

I was thinking of getting the teraflex leveling kit.
Teraflex 1 5" Leveling Kit 2007 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited 1155200 | eBay

Do you think this size will be ok? 295/65R18 durotracs

that's a good kit. TeraFlex makes some good stuff. honestly with that kit, you could probably squeeze a 35" might touch a little if you're thinking of wheeling.

you're welcome. it'll look good - make sure you post up some photos after you get everything mounted up.
